My in-laws and my best friend both have quite a few pecan trees on their property. Ive been paying my oldest boy to pick them for me....hes raised his prices since the years past. I may not be able to afford him this year.
Very cool that you are trying to plant your own. We only have orange trees in our back-yard... - my hubby would love to have his own pecan tree :) -- he sure would love it if I'd bake him a pie.

Hope your tree ends up like the one in my home town. It is so big we all go pick nuts off the ground and it feeds everybody

Dangit, another reminder that I never planted my tuplis, crocus, and daffodils I bought last Fall!
We have two baby pecan trees. They've been there for three years, and they're STILL not as big as yours!

Oh how big do they grow? i would love one in our garden, not sure the weather is right for it other here in England.
